Urban Room Supports PPI Sunway's MPLS 2026: Welcoming Indonesian Students to Sunway University

Starting university in a new country is an exciting journey, but adjusting to a new environment can also feel overwhelming. From making new friends to finding a comfortable place to live, having the right support can make all the difference.

On 10 October 2026, Urban Room proudly sponsored MPLS (Masa Pengenalan Lingkungan Sunway), a welcoming event organized by PPI Sunway at Sunway University, bringing together approximately 80 Indonesian students.

The event aimed to help new students connect, build friendships, and become more familiar with university life in Bandar Sunway.

Bringing Students Together Through MPLS 2026

MPLS 2026 provided a welcoming environment for new Indonesian students beginning their university journey at Sunway University.

Throughout the event, participants enjoyed interactive ice-breaking games, opportunities to meet fellow students, and introductions to life at Sunway University.

Beyond the activities, the event helped students build connections and feel more comfortable in their new surroundings.

Why Urban Room Supported MPLS 2026

At Urban Room, we believe that a positive university experience starts with having a comfortable place to call home.

As a student accommodation provider in Bandar Sunway, we understand the challenges students face when moving to a new city or country, especially when searching for suitable accommodation.

That's why Urban Room supported MPLS 2026 through financial sponsorship and food contributions, helping PPI Sunway create a welcoming experience for incoming students.

Our participation also gave us an opportunity to introduce Urban Room and share how our accommodation services can support students throughout their university journey.
